I can't pinpoint what the difference is with the working/not working ones.ġ. The rest seem to still be working fine for now. This is only happening on a handful of our machines. I've also tried different versions of the VMWare Horizon Client - in case that was the issue. The drivers seem to automatically update as soon as I plug in the monitor. I've tried different driver versions (I'm guessing there was maybe a driver update that broke this?), but I'm not getting anywhere. Then the second monitor goes black, sometimes flickering, but not connecting. At this point the monitors work on the host laptop's OS, until we connect to our VMs. The drivers for these monitors are Displaylink and although my searches imply this scenario perhaps should have never worked with our VMs, we haven't had any problems until this last month. We have several laptops that we've been using with Asus & Toshiba external monitors for at least 4 years. We are in a hosted VMware environment running Win 7 machines. ![]()
